Dr. Veronica Guinn is a passionate etiquette and leadership development expert. Her career in higher education, both as a faculty member and in administration, has significantly influenced her professional approach. Throughout her journey, she has held diverse roles such as assistant professor, radiologic sciences clinical coordinator, Dean for Student Development, and Dean for Leadership & Organizational Development within the Arkansas State University System. Her academic contributions and achievements include teaching a variety of courses centered on critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, professional development, and leadership skills. Pioneering the first internal employee leadership academy and campus culture training program for all faculty and staff members. Engaging in teaching, scholarly activities, presentations, and service at local, state, and national levels.
Dr. Guinn's doctoral research delved into daily behaviors within _The Leadership Challenge_ framework by Kouzes & Posner. She is certified to administer their leadership assessment, emphasizing aspects like modeling the way, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act, and encouraging the heart.
In addition to her leadership development focus, Dr. Guinn has expanded her expertise by becoming a certified Business Etiquette Consultant through the Emily Post Institute. Her training encompasses professional image, communication, career advancement, social interactions, travel etiquette, and dining etiquette. She shares this knowledge with individuals, corporate entities, and educational or community organizations, empowering them with essential skills for confidence in any academic, business, or social setting.
