KLEIMAN - BIOGRAPHY

Business and Executive Communication and Public Speaking Coach, Trainer, and Author. 

Lisa Kleiman brings over 20 years’ experience helping people develop their communication skills. Principal and founder of Speaktopia, a public speaking coaching and training organization, Lisa has a strong passion for communication and helping others develop their presence and voice with clarity, confidence, and authenticity in both written and oral formats. She has coached individuals and facilitated hundreds of classes, workshops, and seminars for diverse audiences across the globe on such topics as public speaking, persuasive messaging, customer satisfaction, negotiations, business proposals, and managerial communication. She works with professionals from across industries and continents including executives, business leaders, entrepreneurs, health care providers, and university students, helping them experience the joy and power of communicating with clarity and confidence. 

Lisa draws from her years of management experience and communication expertise. She has held management and consulting positions at Fortune 500 companies and has served as a faculty member of Boise State University for over 15 years teaching undergraduate and graduate business and managerial communication and English courses.  

Lisa is author of several publications including the bestselling books, "You Got This: Everything You Need to Master Authentic Public Speaking" (2019) River Grove Books, and “Public Speaking Journal” (2021) Speaktopia.  

Lisa is an academic scholar with an Education Specialist degree in adult and organizational learning and leadership, and has a Master of Business Administration, a Master of English concentration in technical and professional communication, and a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management with academic and professional certificates in human resources and records management.

Lisa lives in San Diego, California with her husband of 34 years.
