Ginger Ross, B.A., NCPRSS, Founder and CEO Choices Recovery Trainings, started her professional career, at 17, in the U.S. Army due to little to no parental guidance during her childhood. Ginger traveled down many different career paths trying to find her ‘purpose.' Her romantic life mirrored the same approach trying to find the 'one.' After building a successful business, N.H. Wedding Magazine, and an eighteen-year emotionless marriage that brought two children in private secondary education, Ginger found herself turning to alcohol as a way to cope with the stresses and trauma of the life she created for herself.
This path led her to living conditions and behaviors that can only be described as desolate. In Ginger's long healing journey, she realized her pursuit of happiness was based on societal expectations and falsely idealized behaviors from her parents. She realized that all along, she alone had the power to choose the outcome of her life and that this required her to challenge everything she had known. With a release date of April 1, 2021, Ginger is the Author of My Choices, My Life; 10 Things I Wish I Learned at 17 (Volume 1).
Ginger achieved her B.A. in Forensic Psychology in 2017 at the age of 55. She is the Founder and CEO of Choices Recovery Training, where she trains peer recovery coaches around the Nation. She is a nationally recognized speaker foundations of addiction and recovery, and taking control of your actions and your life to create the life you always imagined.
