DR. MICHAEL DUNPHY

Dr. Michael Dunphy is a professional speaker, educator and facilitator. Having earned three college degrees, including a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Akron in 1990, Dr. Dunphy has served as Professor of Biochemistry, Division Chair of Mathematics and Sciences and currently as Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. Dr. Dunphy is also President and CEO of Mike Dunphy Enterprises, LLC, a company dedicated to training and education to help emerging and veteran professionals develop knowledge and skills for high-performance success. Dr. Dunphy has presented over 600 highly successful training programs, keynotes, retreats, webinars and seminars to clients across the United States. Dr. Dunphy has nearly 30 years of management and leadership experience in both corporate and academic settings and has done business leadership consulting since 1998.

Dr. Dunphy is an expert in Situational Leadership, Applied Emotional Intelligence, Applied Conflict Prevention and Resolution, Building and Sustaining High-Performance Teams and Presentation Skills for Professionals. Dr. Dunphy’s expertise is born from extensive research, training and direct application of skills for the past 30 years. He is also an expert in the most advanced tactics in deep learning and adult learning principles. His programs are always highly engaging and loaded with practical applications. In addition to the academic and professional training credentials, Dr. Dunphy is also a professional in the martial realm. An expert in close quarter combat tactics, Dr. Dunphy has been training and teaching martial sciences since 1971. Equally proficient in tactical weaponry, grappling and percussion tactics, Dr. Dunphy also instructs programs in Situational Awareness, Personal Protection and more specialized martial tactics. Dr. Dunphy lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife Shari and delivers 50-60 programs per year around his university schedule.
