Marsha Therese Danzig, M. Ed Harvard, is Motivational Speaker, Author and Yoga Specialist with an international client base. Her candid memoir about choosing joy in the face of insurmountable obstacles, From the Roots, has transformed the lives of many around the globe. A childhood bone cancer survivor, kidney transplant recipient, amputee yoga teacher( one of the first in the US), and survivor of countless medical challenges , Marsha has been featured in such magazines as Good Housekeeping ,Yoga Journal, Huffington Post and Oprah Magazine.

A fearless and abundantly hopeful woman, Marsha inspires audiences worldwide to live fully, bravely and without reservation. A rebel to the core, she has followed her passions from the rooftops of Paris to the UN Center for Human Rights in Geneva, with stops along the way dancing in a burlesque troupe, performing improvisation and even working as a visiting clown at Shriner’s Hospital. She is a passionate flamenco and ballet dancer who is currently becoming fluent in Spanish.
With her humor and can- do attitude , she helps people break through perceived barriers, expand their capacity for the JOY of living and learn how to live from the integrity of their soul, all with a deep understanding and compassion of the effort it takes to live courgeously. Marsha is the Founder of Yoga for Amputees, one of the top 13 Adaptive Yoga Programs in the US. Marsha has been teaching and practicing yoga for over 30 years, and is living proof that yoga can make a huge difference in the health and wellbeing of even the most difficult medical challenges.

She is a frequent guest and panel expert on adaptive and accessible yoga, and a pioneer in the field. Marsha’s mission is to show people how to find beauty in all circumstances.
