JANET MARTIN - BIOGRAPHY

Motivational Leadership Keynote speaker, Janet R. Martin, works with organizations to amplify their communication and connection skills to break down barriers that stall success. Janet is a leadership expert who delivers high-energy keynote presentations that inspire audiences and challenges them to adapt to change, growth and learn how to give value to get more out of others. Janet is very relatable as and gives her presentation a comic twist as she touches on topics she has experienced first- hand as well as what others have shared, then brings you to the solutions and applications to improve these scenarios that you can start using immediately!

Janet Martin has a Bachelor of Arts in Health Marketing and Communications and Master of Organizational Management. While working for the Veterans Health Administration in Fayetteville, AR, Janet was selected and completed the EVAL (Employee Veterans Administration Leadership program). Janet is a three-time National award-winning National Veterans Creative Arts Festival participant in the performing arts and has been featured over the years nationally for her singing and songwriting. Her passion for music is about the connection with people in her audience and connecting with stories she writes or sings. Janet has had a passion for leadership and communication since she was a child raised in a strict household where communication was one-sided. Later when she joined the workforce, she was faced with the lack of resources and skills to communicate with others effectively which included dealing with bullies in the workplace. Janet has had a diverse career path serving in the United States Air Force, worked in the healthcare field, and in broadcast radio as a news reporter, anchor, and morning show co-host.

Janet would love the opportunity to speak with you to assess the needs of the organization or event and create a memorable presentation with value. She also mentors’ teams to identify and resolve the elephants in the team and or organization to strengthen leadership from the front line and up which results in retaining great employees and increases productivity.
