Selbert is one of the country's best known and most respected trend
analysts. He is:
- Principal of the Growth Strategies Group, a trend research consulting
- Editor & Publisher of Growth Strategies, a
trend letter formerly known as FutureScan: and
- Resident Scholar at the La Jolla Institute, an independent research
organization and think tank.
was corporate futurist at Security Pacific National Bank from 1981
to 1987. He is today an internationally recognized author, speaker
and consultant on business, consumer, marketing and technological
holds Masters and Ph.D. degrees in International Relations from
the University of Southern California, where he was
a Fulbright scholar, Haynes fellow and European Commission grantee.
He earned his undergraduate degree in history from Bowdoin College,
and also attended the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
Roger has served on the Conference Board's Marketing Research Council, the Long-Range Planning Committee of the Los Angeles Central City Association, and chaired the Southern California Research Council Report on "Southern California in the 21st Century," He sits on the Board of Directors of the Danish-American Chamber of Commerce.
