"Stand Up To Life's Put Downs"

Ken Brown Speaks:

I am a pastor and author. I have served as the pastor of four different churches over the last 27 years. One was honored as the Resurrection of the Year in the denomination. Another was honored as the Church of the Year in that same denomination.

Currently, I am serving as the pastor of the North Campus of the largest church in Fairfield County. The North Campus is a rapidly growing congregation in the path of the next major growth boom on the east side of Columbus.
I have written four books. One was a ghost-writing project for Bill and Gloria Gaither. The other three were published in my name:

Scandalgate: Exposing America's Moral Deficit Disorder (1998)
Timely Insights into Timeless Truth (2004)

YES I CAN! (2004)

"Stand Up To Life's Put Downs"
What challenges are you facing in your life?
What changes do you need to make in your life?
What would you do differently, if you had the courage to try. Or try again?

In 1998,1 had several articles published about Scandalgate in a number of newspapers. The most significant was an article on p. 2 in the Washington Times. I was also interviewed several times on the Fox News Channel, capping off with a live interview on the 0 'Reilly Factor. There were numerous radio interviews on nationally syndicated shows that year, including a lengthy interview with Janet Parshall.

YES I CAN I, a motivational book, has been featured as the book-of-the-month in December, 2006, by InterNET Services, Dexter Yager's marketing company. That led directly to the sale of nearly 5,000 copies of the book in the last five weeks.

I am a young 53 years-old who has been married to my wife, Margie, for 31 years. We have no children. Just adults! Our oldest daughter, Rachel, is married and has two children. Her husband is the chaplain at Grace College in Indiana. Our other daughter, Julie, is married and her husband works as a general contractor in San Diego, CA.

Speaking Topics:

Success Re-Spelled
The Bottom Line is NOT the Bottom Line. Its just one more line you must cross. But once you’ve crossed that line, what’s next?

What Are You Worth?
Psychologists and self-help books have correctly diagnosed the problem. But they don’t often offer an effective prescription. What is the secret to discovering what you are worth? And what could you do, if you knew the secret.

Stand Up To Life’s Put Downs
Stand Up to your Critics! We all have them. We all have had to endure an endless number of verbal slaps. But those who make it to the top are those who refused to listen to their critics when they were at rock-bottom.

“I Can’t” Won’t Do!
Don’t let your dream die. You can still make it happen, even if you don’t think you can. All that is required is a change in your thinking. What could make that happen?

Knocked Down, but NOT Out
Everybody gets knocked down. Often! Walter Payton only ran nine miles in his NFL career, but he’s a hall-of-famer. Why? Because every 4.6 yards meant one more punishing tackle. But every time he got knocked down, he got back up. If you can do the same thing, you will be a success. But how do you do that?

Getting Old Without Growing Cold
Your Age Must NOT Dictate Your Attitude. Don’t let the wrinkles on your face put a wrinkle in your thinking. You can age well. You can finish well. You just need to remember how.
