Dr.
Jean Cirillo is a practicing
psychologist in New York who
has been seen on hundreds of
national television shows, as
expert guest and staff
psychologist. She is the
author of two books, "The
Complete Idiot's Guide to
Self-Testing Your IQ", Penguin
Books 2008, and "The Soul Mate
Myth: A 3-Step Plan For
Finding REAL Love", Adams
Media 2012.
Dr.
Cirillo has also hosted
national radio, and worked
with reality shows in
screening potential
candidates. She has a unique
ability to translate abstract
concepts into practical terms,
getting her point across
succinctly, and in an
interesting manner.
At
16, Dr Cirillo began her
education in psychology at New
York University.
Three-and-a-half years later
she was enrolled in the
graduate program at Columbia
University providing career
counseling to adults and
counseling families of
children with learning
difficulties.
She works with individuals,
couples and families,
specializing in the areas of
addictions, difficult
children, violence prevention
and women's issues.
Dr. Cirillo is a former
president of the New York
State Psychological
Association\ Division of
Women's Issues, and has served
on the executive committee of
the American Psychological
Association' Media Psychology
Division. She has also served
on the Clinical Advisory Board
of Optumhealth, the behavioral
healthcare division of United
Health Group.
Whether in person or on tv or
radio, Dr. Cirillo does not
