Cheryl Bassitt is known as the Common Sense
coach with a practical approach to life. She spent over 20 years
in the health care arena. With an internal passion for helping
people succeed, Cheryl became a speaker/coach, as well as a trainer
and certified health advisor. She has worked with organizations
and more than 300 individuals in the areas of personal responsibility,
communication skills, goal setting, healthy habits and weight
loss. Cheryl is the CEO and founder of Health and Wealth Solutions,
an educational company created to teach the importance of balance
between a healthy body, healthy mind and healthy finances. Cheryl
is also the author of several interactive workbooks that teach
individuals and their families the core values needed to live
a healthier life.
and Statement of Passion
In my early 30’s, I was very unhealthy. After spending
a scary time in the hospital, I believe I was given a second chance.
Since they attributed my poor health to poor diet and poor choices,
I was given an antibiotic and instructed to start living a healthier
life. But, what did that mean? At first, the road to health seemed
overwhelming and confusing. Through research, trial and error
and personal experience, I learned a valuable lesson. Achieving
health doesn’t have to be complicated. Optimal health isn’t
magical, it doesn’t come in a bottle and it isn’t
sold on late night TV. It comes from embracing our core beliefs
and from using our common sense.
After working with over 300 individuals and their families, I
realized my story was not unique. My mission is to help others
sift through the marketing, the myths and the misinformation.
My personal experience and passion helps me to deliver a message
that stimulates long-term change. With empathy, humor, caring
and mutual respect, I believe I have and will continue to inspire
individuals to lead healthier and happier lives.
